Junior 3D Designer

We are looking for a talented junior to middleweight designer to join our 3D team.

Working alongside our creative leads and senior designers, the candidate will have the opportunity to learn and grow whilst supporting on a wide variety of event and exhibition design projects.

Applicants need to have studied a relevant 3D/spatial design subject and preferably will have some commercial experience (such as a relevant work placement). Knowledge and abilities in CAD and visualisation software, along with Adobe creative suite are essential, but full training will be given on the specific software packages we use (3DS Max and AutoCAD). Ideally the candidate will have some knowledge and experience of creating 3D renders and working drawing packs.

We would like to see candidates that can demonstrate sound design thinking and experience in following the creative process to transform briefs into ideas and solutions. Exposure to spatial, event and exhibition design would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential. Someone who has trained in an alternative field such as product or furniture design may be perfect for the role. It all depends on the individual.

The opportunity is best suited to someone who is at the start of their career, has a passion for design and creativity and is keen to learn on the job, drawing from the experience of experienced designers, whilst working alongside and supporting them.

We encourage a nurturing culture at Rapiergroup and always offer the best management, support and training to meet an individual’s needs. We believe that everyone who works here should love what they do, putting their heart and should into their work. We know that the right individual will thrive with us and can look forward to an exciting and varied career with great opportunities for progression. Working at Rapiergroup, everyone in the team is trusted and empowered to be brilliant – because when people are free to give their best and treated as individuals, we all benefit!
