Rapiergroup’s Event Management team travelled to the Eurostars Tower Hotel in Madrid for the Renault Dealer Conference. Rapiergoup managed all delegate logistics, flights, transfers, and venues for one of the most important events in the Renault calendar.

Rapiergroup had started the preparations months before with an electronic ‘e-vite’ to Dealer Principals and their partners, linking them an online registration system where they could reserve their places at the conference, indicate flight preferences and find out more about the dealer event programme and the specially arranged activities for partners. Once registered, each delegate received a conference pack and the support of a dedicated enquiry line for the pre-conference period.

A relaxed welcome buffet and an overnight stay welcomed nearly 400 Renault employees, Dealers and their partners to Madrid before the conference commenced the following morning. Running alongside the conference was a partner programme, which included a day trip to see the city of Madrid, shopping, Spanish wine tasting and luxury spa treatments.

The Gala Dinner was held at the authentic Spanish venue of La Quinta del Jarama and started with a champagne reception before guests were escorted to their seats. Speeches from the MD of Renault UK and of Renault Spain formed an important part of the evening, which continued with exclusive entertainment from well-know comedian Ed Byrne and dancing to a live band until the early hours.
