Award winning night for Rapiergroup
Rapiergroup was named Best Live Events Company 2008 at the Public Relations Consultants Associations (PRCA) 28th Awards ceremony at the Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane on Wednesday 5th November.
The award was given for our amazing two-storey pavilion fit out for BAE Systems at the Farnborough Air Show this summer that won a lot of acclaim at the show and afterwards in the trade press.
Nick de Bois, the group CEO collected the award with colleagues Helen Seaman, CFO, and Paul Denny, Group Client Services Director, who also led the winning project.
Receiving the award from the presenter for the evening UK Channel Four’s, Bridgid Nzekwu, Nick proudly commented: “It is so good to see Rapiergroup continuing to make impressions right across the face to face marketing industry. This award defines a highlight for us and I give my thanks to the amazing work of our teams not only here in the UK but in the USA and in Dubai. I am very proud to accept this honour for them all, and trust that there will be more to come.”
The PRCA followed that comment by stating: “The Farnborough International Air Show is the major aerospace business and public event in the world, attracting 200,000 trade visitors and 150,000 members of the public.
Judges were impressed by both the scale and quality of the exhibition pavilion Rapiergroup produced for BAE Systems –with the team transforming an empty space into an integrated sales platform for one of the UK's largest global companies, delivering customer presentations zones, executive offices, all digital media production, a restaurant for 600 guests, and not least a fully functioning major media centre”
