Our brief involved finding a solution to communicate information without the use of language. To do this we developed a series of image storylines and executed it through featured archive materials, pictures and graphics mounted onto glass panels. We used simple lighting effects to lift them off the walls. Our respect for the building itself meant that images had to appear to float off walls and not appear fixed.
Creating a space to last - one which would not date and with low maintenance, with fashion changing so fast in architecture and interior design - we had to find a solution which would look good now and in 5-10 years time. In addition we had to create an environment which could be transformed at night for social events and corporate dinners.
