
An extremely high profile event and considered paramount in the drive by ITV to bring home the benefits of the brand to UK media agencies and advertisers.
650 advertiser and media agency key contacts were invited to the launch of the new Autumn programme schedule for the three current ITV channels. Held at London Studios the main presentation and showreels of the topline broadcast genres were displayed in Studio 1 and simulcast to 12 regions around the UK.
Detailed trailers of new and re-commissioned series for Drama, Entertainment, Factual, Film and Sport were revealed together with viewing trend statistics and commissioning direction for the coming season.
The presentation was followed by a themed party in Studio 2 which was decorated with copious autumnal props and lighting and even sported a full size copse. The event was described as ‘The Best Ever…’ by senior executives at ITV.
